Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness of guest areas and common spaces.
Attend to guest needs for supplies and cleaning of public areas.
Support housekeeping staff and assist with moving furniture and supplies.
Report maintenance or safety hazards to supervisor.
Ensure proper handling of chemicals and cleaning products.
Maintain equipment and keep it secure when not in use.
Assist with security issues or suspicious activities in the area.
Provide high levels of service to guests and maintain a professional appearance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

No education or experience required, we will train one on one
Ability to follow instruction
Good communication skills are an asset
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is an asset
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
Professional appearance and manners
Able to lift up to 50lbs.
Full-time and Part-time availability

DUTIES:

Sweeping, mopping, waxing/washing floors, dusting furniture, making beds, changing sheets/towels, stocking linen closets and supplies area,
Attend to guest needs/requests for extra supplies, cleaning and disinfecting public areas such as changing rooms, showers and pool area, washing windows/walls/ceilings, picking up debris, and empty trash containers.
Weeding/Mowing/Hedge Trimming
Leaf Clean up
Planting/Edging
Power washing
Painting
General Maintenance
Assist housekeepers when required.
Assist moving furniture, storage boxes, etc.
Ensures all maintenance and safety hazards are promptly reported to the Supervisor/Manager to minimize hazard risk
Takes personal responsibility for equipment, ensuring it is operated correctly and secure at all times
Maintains an up to date knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning products, and the correct handling procedures
Reports any unusual or suspicious persons/activities happening in the area of security to the manager
Reports any maintenance issues including burned out light bulbs
