Job summary

Aramark Canada is seeking a Housekeeping Lead to clean and maintain assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction, with oversight of team tasks as needed.

The role involves scheduling daily work, supervising custodial staff, training new employees, and ensuring safety compliance while maintaining equipment and facilities to Aramark standards across client sites in Alberta. You will report issues, coordinate with leadership, and uphold high cleanliness and safety expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous custodial experience.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns daily work to a custodial team.
• Oversees completion of tasks and ensures quality of work.
• Partners with department leadership to address performance deficiencies.
• Participates in training of new employees and re-training as needed.
• Cleans assigned areas to meet Aramark and client standards.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and mitigates safety hazards.
• Cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensures security of company assets and facility; doors and storage areas are properly secured.
