Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Working Team Lead to coordinate daily cleaning operations and actively perform janitorial duties alongside the team. The role serves as a resource for frontline staff, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

You will lead by example on health and safety, assist with onboarding and training, monitor equipment and inventory, and communicate priorities across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading janitorial or facilities teams.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple roles.
• Commitment to health and safety standards (WHMIS a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily cleaning tasks with staff.
• Monitor task completion and provide direction during shifts.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new associates.
