This position is ideal for individuals interested in hotel operations and looking to develop their career in hospitality management.

Qualifications / qualifications

• College degree or equivalent, preferably in hospitality management.
• Ability to maintain 4-Diamond level cleanliness standards.
• Ability to collaborate with management on special projects.
• Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency as required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 75 lbs.
• Effective communication via radio and phone as needed.
• Previous experience in Health & Safety.
• First Aid/CPR Certification is preferred.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Flexibility to work day, evening, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities / responsabilits

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and service quality.
• Assign special projects as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
• Report repairs or discrepancies in guest rooms.
• Ensure availability of supplies and linens for Guest Room Attendants.
• Assist in cleaning guest rooms when necessary.
• Manage room status reports during AM and PM shifts.
• Maintain organization of linen carts and stock in linen closets.
• Keep supply cages neat and stocked.
• Ensure guest rooms are punched in via phone after cleaning.
• Inspect VIP rooms promptly.
• Prioritize check-out and vacated rooms.
• Maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Coordinate cleaning needs with Brookfield Condo for residents.
• Attend meetings, town halls, and training sessions as required.
• Stay informed about hotel facilities and events.
