Job summary

Best Western Plus Okotoks Inn & Suites is seeking a detail‑oriented housekeeping attendant to join our on‑site team. You will clean guest rooms and public areas, restock supplies, and assist guests with requests while maintaining a safe, efficient environment.

The role requires reliability, punctuality, and strong communication skills. Training is provided, and you will work in a fast-paced hotel setting with opportunities to develop professional cleaning techniques.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience.
• WHMIS and housekeeping certifications are preferred.
• Criminal record check is required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
• Clean and disinfect elevators
• Handle and report lost and found items
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
• Provide basic information on facilities
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Clean changing rooms and showers
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
