Job summary

The Best Lodge Motel in Calgary is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain clean rooms and public areas. You will dust, sweep, mop, change linens, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues. Training is provided, and there is on-site staff housing available.

This role requires punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous experience is not required.

Qualifications

• No degree required; on-the-job training provided.
• Bondable and able to pass basic security checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Stock linen closet.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Handle and report lost and found items.
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
