Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is seeking a Housekeeping Office Supervisor to coordinate daily housekeeping operations and support a flawless guest experience. The role manages room assignments, reporting, and collaboration with housekeeping, engineering, and front office, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional service.

Candidates should have 2+ years luxury hotel experience, Opera PMS and HotSOS knowledge, and strong English communication; the position offers

Qualifications

  • Two+ years experience working in luxury hotel housekeeping.
  • Experience with Opera PMS and HotSOS is an asset.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

  • Open the department in the morning shift and print all needed reports.
  • Create daily work assignments for Room Attendants and Turndown Attendants and distribute to staff.
  • Ensure guest room setups and requests are highlighted on assignments.
  • Update daily briefings for Morning and Evening Housekeeping.
  • Monitor stayover and arrival rooms to ensure cleaning and inspection by 4 pm.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering and Front Office to prep rooms for arrival.

We are seeking a Housekeeping Office Supervisor who will be ahospitality professionaltocoordinate Housekeeping daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flawless, anticipatory service andattention todetails.

At Four Seasons Resort and Residence Whistler,the HousekeepingOffice Supervisorassigns rooms to Room Attendants and supports the overall day-to-day efficiency of the Housekeeping Operation.

Whatyou willdo:
  • Open the department in the morning shift, print all needed reports.

  • Create daily work assignments for Room Attendant and Turndown Attendant in designated computer systems. Issues the daily work assignments to Lobby Attendants,Housemenand Supervisors.

  • Ensure special set ups inguestrooms,guest requests,groupand event movement are highlighted on assignments.

  • Updatedailythe PowerPoint briefingslideshowsfor the Morning and Evening Housekeeping briefings.

  • Monitor status of stayover rooms and arrival rooms and move rooms around in Room Attendant assignments to ensure all rooms are cleaned and inspected by 4 pm.

  • Monitor Housekeeping staffing for all positions for the next day andinformstheHousekeepingmanagement of any over or understaffing according to labor standards.

  • Provide prompt dispatching services and comprehensive administrative support to ensure seamless and efficient housekeeping operationsin accordance withFour Seasons standards.

  • Expedite guest requests as quickly as possible and notifyHousekeepingleadership if any guest service is delayed or hampered.

  • Utilize andmaintainthe property management system, accurately logging service requests, updating room status, closing work orders, and generating necessary reports.

  • Monitors daily assignments toassurethat productivity and quality standards are being met, staffisbeingsupportedand guest needs are being met.

  • Assign rush rooms and rooms previously marked “Do Not Disturb” to Room Attendantsin a timely manner, ensuring prompt service recovery.

  • Regularly coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Office to ensure vacant, queue, and rush rooms are prepared for arrival, communicating real-time status updates to support a smooth check-in experience.

  • Maintain organized, legible, and up to date departmental records, forms, logs, and team packetsin accordance withFour Seasons standards, ensuring sufficient supplies are available for the month.

  • Maintainaccuraterecords of attendance for all housekeeping team members.

  • Monitor and manage the issuance and return of phones, panic alarms, and other departmental equipment, ensuring adherence to security procedures. Any missing equipment must be reported to most senior Housekeeping Manager on dutyandthe Security Departmentimmediately.

  • Maintain the housekeeping office in a clean, orderly, and professional conditionat all times.

  • Report and respond promptly to any safety, security, or maintenance concerns, including ResidenceClubemergencies, ensuring swift andappropriate actionto protect guests and team members.

  • Assistmanagement with special projects and other administrative assignments as directed.

  • Conduct shiftbriefings andmeetings to keep employees informed of hotelpolicies and changesand ways to increase guest satisfaction and service standards.

What you bring:
  • Two+ year experience working in luxury hotel housekeeping is considered an asset

  • Previousexperience with Opera PMS andHotSoSis an asset

  • Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in spoken and written English

  • Strong organization skills and an eye for attention to detail

  • aValid work authorization for Canada

Schedule & Hours:

As our hotel is open 24/7,365 daysa year, we expect our Front Office Manager to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
