Job summary

Civeo Crown Services Employees LP is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator at one of our lodges near Fort McMurray, AB. The role oversees hygiene in bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways and laundry while reporting to the supervisor.

Housekeeping Coordinator - Crown (Finance)

Civeo Crown Services Employees LP is currently looking to fill the position of a Housekeeping Coordinator at one of our lodges located near Fort McMurray, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall hygienic conditions of the bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and laundry rooms. Reporting to the designated supervisor, the successful candidate will work 21 days on and 7 days off rotation, which may include days, nights, weekend shifts, and statutory holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, strengthen and maintain excellent communication skills with all members of staff.
• Provide guidance to fellow staff, lead by example.
• Ensure quality and standards are being met/exceeded.
• Collect sheets from Housing Office.
• Assign rooms to the Housing/Retail Workers.
• Prepare morning briefing.
• Clean rooms and/or washrooms.
• Conduct the training program with the new hires.
• Prepare the night shift rooms list.
• Check the linen count for Laundry pickup and delivery days.
• Lead safety meetings.
• Inspect facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
• Assist with inventory as required.
• Determine areas of improvement within housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current, valid First Aid certification is an asset.
