About The Role

In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment, reflecting your attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, your approach will be guided by kindness.

We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although training will be provided. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills, along with positive energy and the ability to get along well with others. Communication skills are essential, including listening and giving instructions with consideration and kindness.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional related training. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
