In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities as a Housekeeping Assistant will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment, reflecting your attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning duties, you’ll do so with kindness and professionalism.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in housekeeping is preferred, but full training will be provided.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Positive energy and the ability to get along with people.
• Strong communication skills, being considerate and kind when interacting with residents and colleagues.

Additional Requirements

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns appropriately.
