Job summary

Waterside Retirement Lodge in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, is seeking a Housekeeping Aide for a part-time on-site role. You will support resident care, follow safety protocols, and help maintain a clean, safe living environment in a licensed retirement community.

Reporting to the Environmental Services Manager, you will perform delegated duties, document changes, and work with the team to ensure resident comfort while adhering to OH&S standards. All applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education.
• Must understand oral and written instructions.
• Housekeeping experience in a Long Term Care setting is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support resident care, follow safety rules and maintain the facility.
• Safely perform delegated tasks and report resident condition changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with OH&S practices.

Reporting to the Environmental Services Manager, responsibilities of this role encompass resident care support, safety adherence, and facility maintenance. Key duties include safely performing delegated tasks, understanding WHMIS and housekeeping equipment, reporting resident condition changes promptly, and accurate documentation. The role requires commitment to continuous improvement, efficient resource use, collaboration, and strict adherence to Occupational Health and Safety practices.
