Job summary

Choice Homecare is seeking housekeepers to support clients in Ottawa and surrounding areas. If you are a mature, self-motivated individual who enjoys helping others, this role offers independence and meaningful work.

Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and organizing with flexible schedules. Competitive pay, paid orientation, and ongoing training are provided along with benefits and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Proficient in communicating in English (verbal and written).
• High school diploma or higher.
• Valid police vulnerable sectors check (completed within the past 12 months) - must.
• Can work independently under minimal supervision.
• Have a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray (completed within the past 12 months) - must.
• Have valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle with proof of insurance - must.
• Are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or temporary residents of Canada with a valid work permit with a minimum of six months prior to expiration.
• Are available to work every other weekend.
• Have internet access through a mobile device.
• Have high energy and drive to deliver excellent service through strong communication skills.
• Ability to speak other languages is an asset.
