Job summary

MacLeod Cares Surf Lodge Nursing Home is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet residents' dietary needs. You will work with the dietary team and nursing staff to ensure meals are prepared safely and served on time, contributing to the health and comfort of residents.

The role requires a Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent, at least one year of cooking experience (healthcare is an asset), and a clear background check.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Services, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of cooking experience (healthcare or institutional setting considered an asset).
• Knowledge of special diets.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• A clear vulnerable sector and criminal record check.
