Housekeeper

This is a Permanent Part-Time position with 30 hours bi-weekly.

Schedule:

• Fri 11:00pm-7:00am (Night Shift)
• Sat 11:00pm-7:00am (Night Shift)

Wage: Leveling rate of pay $24.08 per hour, with adjustments based on the collective agreement.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be an integral part of the Retirement team, working efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure a safe and clean environment for residents. Your contributions will help promote a culture of respect and full living for residents.

How You’ll Succeed:

1. Providing Thorough Cleaning:

• Receive assignments, gather materials, and transport supplies.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as:
• Resident room cleaning as scheduled.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets.
• Spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors.
• Dusting and sanitizing furniture, shelves, and woodwork.
• Emptying wastebaskets and rearranging furniture.
• Daily cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms.

1. Resident Privacy and Room Preparation:

• Respect residents' privacy during cleaning.
• Prepare rooms for new occupants, ensuring they are tour-ready.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• You are compassionate and dedicated to supporting seniors in living fully.
• You are detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
