Qualicum Beach Inn is a boutique hotel centrally located on Vancouver Island next to the beautiful Strait of Georgia and near the heart of the quaint, picturesque town of Qualicum Beach. We offer upscale amenities, a pool, hot tub, event space and 32 spectacular guest rooms and 8 guest suites located at Qualicum Beach Ocean Suites.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team, with the potential to carry on as a permanent team member after September. This position is essential in providing our guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Replenish supplies such as toiletries and linens in guest rooms as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and pool area.
• Retrieve, stock, restock and store amenities, linens, and housekeeping carts.
• Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Experience

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with laundry operations and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service to guests.
• Must be able to stand and be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day.
• Must be physically able to bend, stretch, lift, walk up stairs, etc.
• Must be flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
