Job summary

Cape Smokey is seeking a reliable House Cleaner to join our team at Ingonish Beach, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. You will contribute to welcoming, sparkling-clean spaces that guests love coming home to.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, dusting, making beds, stocking supplies, and assisting guests with requests. The position offers on-site housing and access to resort activities as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Handle and report lost and found items
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
• Provide basic information on facilities
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
