Job summary

Hillcrest Hall Country Inn in Port Hood, Nova Scotia is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant for a seasonal, weekly position. You will make beds, clean rooms and public areas, handle laundry and restock supplies, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.

This role starts August 10, 2026 and runs through October 21, 2026. Basic English required; subsidized accommodation may be available to qualified applicants; pay is hourly, approximately $700 per week depending on experience.

• Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries;
• Clean and replenish coffee service and amenities;
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies;
• Stock linen closets and other supplies' areas;
• Clean, disinfect and polish bathroom fixtures and appliances;
• Clean and disinfect public areas (lobby/reception/rest rooms);
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers;
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings when necessary;
• Report maintenance issues to management;
• Report and store lost and found items;
• Sort laundry and operate washing machines and dryers to clean and dry bed linens, towels and other articles;
• Treat stained and heavily soiled articles as per property guidelines;
• Separate and fold laundered articles;
• Mix and add detergents;
• Store cleaned items in linen closet;
• Maintain inventories of products, materials and amenities in stock
