Job summary

Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV) is seeking a Residential Youth Worker - Hourly for Vancouver, BC. The role supports at-risk youth in Safehouse/Haven locations, providing responsive care with a shift partner and linking youth to long-term services.

Requires a Diploma in a related field and about one year of relevant experience. Cross-training opportunities exist, and the program emphasizes trauma-informed, low-barrier care.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a related human/social service field.
• One year related experience with homelessness, mental health, addictions, or social services.
• Equivalent mix of education, training and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Work with a shift partner to provide responsive care to youth.
• Support at-risk youth ages 16–21 with basic needs and connections to services.
• Report to the Assistant Manager and follow program protocols.
