Job summary

Skye Hotel in Toronto is opening a unique Hotel and Residence property and seeks a dedicated Hotel Room Attendant to join the launch team. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms and public spaces to deliver a luxurious guest experience.

You will follow brand standards, work with a small team, and support safety initiatives while providing attentive service to guests. Weekend, holiday, and shift work are required as part of the opening operations.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience an asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

Responsibilities

• Create welcoming, clean guestrooms and public spaces to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
• Provide friendly, attentive service to guests and colleagues.
• Follow brand standards and maintain detailed cleaning of stays and vacancies.
• Record room cleaning activity on mobile devices and report maintenance needs.
• Communicate guest requests or concerns to housekeeping leadership.
• Participate in deep cleaning and protect guest safety by following procedures.
