Job summary

Concord Hospitality Enterprises is seeking a Maintenance Associate to support preventive maintenance across hotel properties. You will perform routine repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems, service the pool, and refurbish guest room furniture while ensuring safety and guest satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on maintenance duties, adherence to property policies, and collaboration with supervisors to keep rooms ready for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance in a hospitality environment.
• Ability to perform routine repairs and minor replacements on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Commitment to safety, accurate record-keeping, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
• Check electrical systems and perform minor repairs or replacements.
• Assist in major repairs of hotel equipment including appliances, kitchen and laundry equipment, boilers, pool equipment, HVAC.
• Service the hotel pool, adjust chemicals, and complete maintenance request forms.
• Maintain exterior curb appeal: snow removal, lawn care, painting, gardening.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms; paint and finish as needed.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Be exposed to extreme temperatures and operate heavy machinery as required.
• Dispose of garbage per policy and follow safety regulations.
• Carry out daily maintenance tasks per the Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
• Test fire alarms and emergency lighting; liaise with supervisor to minimize downtime.
