Job summary

Rebel Hotel Company is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to assist with operation, maintenance and repair of hotel equipment and systems, including preventative maintenance for guest rooms and public areas.

You will handle plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, lighting, and other trade tasks, respond to guest requests and work orders, and follow safety procedures to protect guests and staff. This role includes access to back-of-house areas and requires discretion with keys and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms, ice machines, HVAC, and kitchen equipment.
• Complete plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting tasks as required.
• Respond to guest requests and work orders promptly.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents to the Front Desk.
• Access back-of-house areas and handle sensitive information securely.
• Drive safely on company business when required.
