Job summary

Sandman Hotel Group in Vancouver is seeking an entry-level housekeeping associate. No education or previous experience is required as we provide one-on-one training to get you started.

You will follow instructions, communicate effectively, and uphold a professional appearance while delivering courteous guest service. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms and public areas, stocking supplies, and assisting with maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• No education or experience required; we will train one on one.
• Ability to follow instruction.
• Good communication skills are an asset.
• WHMIS is an asset.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax/wash floors and dust furniture.
• Make beds and change sheets/towels; restock linen closets.
• Attend to guest needs for supplies; disinfect public areas.
• Weeding/ mowing / hedge trimming.
• Power washing; painting; general maintenance.
• Assist housekeepers when required.
• Report maintenance and safety hazards to supervisor.
