Job summary

Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a dedicated, experienced Maintenance Manager to support the Director of Engineering and Assistant Director in coordinating day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department. The role involves assigning, tracking, and following up on work, coordinating preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring facilities and systems are safe, reliable, and well maintained.

Qualifications

• College degree or high school diploma in technical, trade, or vocational field.
• Fourth Class Power Engineering certification is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a hotel or related industry.
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience within a hotel environment.
• Must be available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Engineering and Maintenance activities and track work orders.
• Monitor maintenance requests in HotSOS with updates and follow-up.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance for hotel equipment and facilities.
• Prepare engineering reports and assist with budgeting and admin tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt standards, safety, and codes.
