Canopy by Hilton Toronto Yorkville is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead daily maintenance operations, ensuring safety, guest comfort, and regulatory compliance. You will oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems and manage the preventive maintenance program.

Qualifications

• Some college or vocational training with 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Or 6 years of maintenance/construction with supervisory experience.
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA Certification Level 3 for refrigerant reclaim.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily engineering/maintenance operations to ensure safety and comfort.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee maintenance/repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
• Manage budget, staffing, and capital plans for the department.
• Lead safety trainings and incident reporting; promote a safe work culture.
• Collaborate with other departments and hotel leadership.
