Job summary

Sandman Hotel Group is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee major mechanical equipment for properties within the British Columbia Lower Mainland. You will lead a maintenance team and collaborate with the regional and field teams to drive reliable operations and cost-effective capital projects.

You will develop and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets, coach a cohesive team, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in hotel maintenance or facilities management.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating large projects.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and vendor relations.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Leadership of the Maintenance Team.
• Collaborate with Hotel Design & Construction Teams and Directors.
• Create and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures.
• Develop, coach, and mentor a cohesive maintenance team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement for future projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and documentation for each project.
• Guide energy-saving initiatives through the Eco-Fund Committee.
• Review quotations and assist with capital expenses.
