Job summary

The MRG Group is seeking a friendly and energetic Host to cover three venues—Dublin Calling, Par‑Tee Putt, and Slate—across Granville. You will greet guests, seat them, and help with food running while delivering an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are team players with strong communication, the ability to stay calm during peak times, and a willingness to work weekends and late nights. Serving It Right is required.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented hospitality professional with strong communication skills.

• Ability to manage time and multitask during busy periods.

• Serving It Right certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and see them to seating areas.
• Seat guests according to available sections and volume.
• Inform guests about specials and events.
• Perform periodic washroom checks and keep areas clean.
• Assist with food and beverage running when needed.
• Provide excellent customer experiences and thank guests.

Who You Are

You are an outgoing, organized, and high-energy individual who loves to entertain. Most importantly, you thrive in a team environment and can keep your cool when the green gets busy. Our Hosts are responsible for making sure that every guest starts their experience on a high note, as well as support with food running and coat check.

You will be working across our three (3) different venues located on Granville: Dublin Calling, Par‑Tee Putt, and Slate.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them sincerely upon departure.
• Seat guests according to volume of property and assigned sections.
• Inform guests of any food or drink specials or special events that may be happening.
• Conduct washroom checks to ensure cleanliness and supplies are in stock.
• Keep all work areas clean and organized.
• Comply with food and beverage regulations.
• Offer a heartfelt 'thank you' and invite guests to visit again
• Support with food and beverage running.
• Create Positive Shareable Experiences!

Qualifications & Experience

• Enjoys working in a team environment.
• Effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• A passion and commitment to quality guest service and hospitality.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively during peak times.
• Meet productivity standards and complete work using time efficiently.
• Able to work on the weekends and holidays, including late nights.
• Valid Serving it Right required.
