Azad TV is planning to recruit a number of male and female hosts for the production of social, informational and entertainment programs.

Requirements:

• Residency in Toronto, Canada
• Fluency in English, Dari and Pashto
• Experience in media is an asset

Responsibilities

• Presenting programs in a clear, confident and professional manner in Dari, Pashto and English
• Engaging with guests and audiences during live and pre-recorded shows
• Conducting interviews, leading discussions and moderating panels on social, cultural and community-related topics
• Collaborating with the production team to develop scripts, program formats and content ideas
• Researching topics and guests to ensure accurate and relevant information is shared
• Maintaining professionalism on camera, including punctuality, appearance and respectful communication
• Representing the values of Azad TV, promoting inclusivity, respect and cultural awareness

Qualifications

• Fluency in Dari, Pashto and English (spoken and written)
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with a confident and engaging on-camera presence
• Previous experience in media, broadcasting or public speaking is preferred
• Knowledge of social and cultural issues relevant to the Afghan and wider community
• Creative thinking and the ability to contribute to program development and content ideas
• Professional demeanor, reliability and the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Residency in Toronto, Canada and availability for in-person filming and meetings
• Team-oriented attitude with the flexibility to collaborate with producers, directors and technical staff
