What to Expect as a Host/Hostess:

• Greet guests courteously and professionally, escort them to their tables
• Seat guests and manage restaurant flow (rotating tables assigned by server)
• Assist guests with children and special needs as required
• Present menus, answer questions, and offer food and service suggestions
• Inform servers and management of any special needs or potential issues
• Clear and reset tables at the end of each course
• Ensure guest satisfaction
• Thank guests upon exit

Skills and Requirements:

• Provide a welcoming experience for guests from entry to exit
• Maintain warm, friendly demeanor
• Minimum 6 months' experience in retail or food service
• High school diploma preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English for effective communication and order taking
• Experience handling customer service issues
• Basic math skills for operating cash registers, making change, and handling financial transactions
• Food handler's permit as required by law
