We’re Hiring: Part-Time Podcast Host & Business Reporter (Atlantic Canada)

We're launching a weekly podcast about small business news in Atlantic Canada.

This is a part-time, remote opportunity for someone who’s passionate about business, media, and our region.

What’s the show about?

It’s a 30-minute weekly roundup of notable small business headlines, local developments, and inspiring stories from entrepreneurs in the Atlantic provinces. Think: insightful, relevant, and easy to listen to—made for business owners, advisors, and community leaders who care about what’s happening locally in our region.

Who I’m looking for:

️ A great communicator with a clear, engaging voice

Someone curious and informed about business and economics

️ Experience in podcasting, journalism, or content creation

️ Comfortable with basic editing tools (Descript, Audacity, etc.)

MUST live in or know Atlantic Canada well and can properly pronounce some of our community names.

What you’ll do:

• Source and summarize 3–5 key news stories each week (with help if needed)
• Write conversational scripts or bullet points
• Record and edit a clean, professional-sounding episode
• Deliver it on a reliable weekly schedule

Time commitment:

~3–5 hours/week, depending on your workflow.

Flexible schedule, remote work, paid per episode or monthly.
