You bring an eagerness to listen and learn, and an ability to maintain your cool under pressure. The hostess creates welcoming energy from the moment guests walk through the door until they leave.

You manage the flow of the restaurant and generate customer loyalty. The hostess also processes reservations, plans guest seating, and assists servers with food and beverage expediting, bussing, and cleaning. Key Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to provide a premium experience.
• Initiate conversations with guests confidently.

What You Bring

• Experience as a host/hostess in hospitality or food service preferred.
• Cash handling experience with POS systems or registers.
• Experience in tourism, promotion, marketing, entertainment, or events preferred.
• Certifications such as Serving It Right (BC), Preserve (Alberta), or Smart Serve (Ontario).
• Customer service certifications like World Host / Super Host preferred.
• Proven sales, marketing, and service skills in dining, retail, or promotions.
• Effective public speaking and presence.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds, including fully loaded trays.
• Knowledge of specialty food and beverage items.
