Job summary

The Shuswap Lake Golf Course and Duffer’s Grill & Lounge is seeking a positive minded Hospitality Server to join our dynamic team. The role focuses on delivering outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced environment, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

The position is full-time or part-time, with competitive wages ($18.25/hr + tips) and opportunities within GolfNorth Properties. SmartServe certification will be provided and applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest level of service and guest satisfaction by following standard operating procedures.
• Complete opening/closing and side duties as delegated by management.
• Provide nonstop teamwork with teammates and managers.
• Sell the course image and promotions to all guests.
• Adhere to all menu specifications and continually upgrade skills and knowledge.
• Comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and GolfNorth Health & Safety Program.

Summary: A server is an integral part of a dynamic hospitality team. Our customer’s first and last impression of the facility will depend on how they are treated by our staff.
