Concord Hospitality Enterprises is seeking a driven Director of Sales and Marketing to lead the Calgary property’s sales efforts and elevate market presence. You will inspire, coach, and align the team with Concord's service-first culture while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires strategic sales leadership, revenue growth across existing and new markets, and a focus on industry trends, brand standards, and detailed reporting.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of Director of Sales experience in hospitality.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage high-performing sales teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with Marriott systems and brand standards is highly desirable.

Description

The Element by Westin Calgary Downtown and Concord Hospitality is seeking a driven and strategic Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales efforts and elevate our market presence. The ideal candidate is a service-focused, highly motivated, and collaborative leader with a strong understanding of customer relationship development, business prospecting, and sales team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times, upholding Concord’s service-first culture.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in both existing and new markets.
• Foster and maintain strong business relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
• Oversee and guide all sales and marketing efforts, including advertising, public relations, and administrative reporting.
• Align sales initiatives with the hotel’s Marketing Plan, setting clear goals and strategies.
• Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of prior Director of Sales experience in the hospitality industry.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage high-performing sales teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, with a focus on financial and competitive data.
• Familiarity with Marriott systems and brand standards is highly desirable.
• Local market knowledge preferred.
