Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Hospitality Aide in Edmonton, AB to deliver compassionate hospitality services to residents in a home environment.

The role emphasizes meaningful engagement with residents, teamwork, and maintaining a safe, clean dining and social space. Prior food service experience and a Safe Food Handler’s certificate are valued; a Vulnerable Sector Check is required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Diploma or recognized equivalent is required.
• Valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• All applicants must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Demonstrated compassion when supporting seniors in daily activities.
• Experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality settings.

How You’ll Succeed

• Assist with the preparation of meals, and serving meals to residents
• Follow residents' diets and food preferences
• Take the menu orders from the residentsSet and clear tables in the dining rooms and ensure they are
• Ensure you are following proper food handling techniques

Who You Are:

• Grade 12 Diploma or recognized equivalent is required.
• Have a valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willing to obtain
• You are committed to providing compassionate support that provides seniors to live their lives to the fullest
• You are detailed-oriented coupled with strong customer service skills enabling you to effectively communicate with residents and staff
• You may bring experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
