Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Hospitality Aide in Edmonton to support residents with compassionate hospitality services as part of a senior living team.

You will help prepare and serve meals, respect dietary needs, and maintain a clean, safe dining environment. Shared commitment to dignity and comfort for residents is central to this role.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Diploma or recognized equivalent is required.
• Have a valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and serve meals to residents.
• Follow residents' diets and food preferences.
• Take menu orders from residents.
• Set and clear tables in dining rooms and ensure they are clean.
• Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Hospitality Aide you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

How You’ll Succeed

• Assist with the preparation of meals, and serving meals to residents
• Follow residents' diets and food preferences

Who You Are:

• Grade 12 Diploma or recognized equivalent is required.
• Have a valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willing to obtain
• You are committed to providing compassionate support that provides seniors to live their lives to the fullest
• You are detailed-oriented coupled with strong customer service skills enabling you to effectively communicate with residents and staff
• You may bring experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Must be available for the scheduled mandatory orientation; no exceptions.
