Responsibilities

• Assist in training Environmental Services staff and students
• Follow departmental procedures to ensure consistent service quality
• Clean assigned areas according to cleaning schedules and infection control guidelines
• Prioritize and complete extra cleaning duties within schedules
• Conduct daily area tours and inspect for cleanliness
• Ensure equipment is clean and operating properly
• Perform washing, mopping, waxing, vacuuming, polishing, and dusting
• Clean bed frames and mattresses as scheduled
• Handle waste and wash receptacles
• Maintain housekeeping carts and restock supplies
• Process laundry including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and transporting
• Clean and process laundry and linen per standards and infection guidelines
• May perform minor laundry repairs
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory
• Participate in department quality control audits
• Other duties as assigned
