Responsibilities

• Assists in training and orientation of Environmental Services staff and students.
• Follow departmental procedures to ensure consistent service across the department.
• Cleans assigned areas per schedules and infection control guidelines.
• Prioritizes and completes extra cleaning duties as required.
• Conducts daily area tours to ensure cleanliness before end of shift.
• Ensures equipment stays clean and operates efficiently.
• Performs washing, mopping, waxing, vacuuming, polishing and dusting.
• Cleans bed frames and mattresses as scheduled.
• Collects waste and washes receptacles.
• Restocks supplies and maintains housekeeping carts.
• Performs laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying and folding.
