Job summary

Prairie Mountain Health in Brandon seeks an Environmental Services Aide. Under supervision, you will assist in laundry and housekeeping, follow infection control guidelines, and help keep patient and workplace areas safe and clean.

You will prioritize duties, maintain inventory, and support a positive care environment. The role supports Environmental Services operations with flexible daytime shifts, 7.75 daily hours, and a 0.50 FTE.

Qualifications

• Grade 9 education or equivalent; MB Standards.
• Demonstrated dexterity and efficient work methods.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist laundry and housekeeping per policies and infection control guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness following schedules and inspections.
• Conduct daily area tours for cleanliness checks.
• Operate, clean and maintain equipment and carts.
• Process laundry and linen per standards; restock supplies.
