The Salvation Army Agape Hospice is seeking a Nursing Manager to lead the nursing department, oversee budget and staffing, and ensure high-quality palliative care. You will collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Leader to plan admissions, manage complex cases, and promote standards of care.

Ideal candidates will have an active Alberta nursing license, a baccalaureate degree in nursing, and at least three years in hospice/palliative care with supervisory experience.

Qualificações

• Current active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) or a professional association relating to the degree.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a baccalaureate degree; CHPCN or equivalent is an asset.
• Minimum three years' experience in a hospice/palliative care setting with supervisory responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and management of the nursing department in alignment with Agapé Hospice objectives.
• Develop and monitor budgets, recruitment/retention, and scheduling strategies.
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control policies and safety standards.
• Oversee admissions, complex cases, and family communications; handle escalations and investigations as needed.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Leader to coordinate care across shifts and teams.
