Job summary

The Salvation Army Agape Hospice in Calgary seeks a Nursing Manager to lead the nursing department, develop clinical programs, manage budgets, and coach staff. You will partner with the Executive Director and Clinical Nurse Leader to ensure high-quality resident care and adherence to safety standards.

This onsite full-time role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and performance review skills, with a focus on patient- and family-centered care within a faith-based organization.

Qualifications

• Current active nursing license with relevant Alberta registration or equivalent.
• Experience leading a nursing department in a hospital or hospice setting.
• Strong budgeting, staffing, and quality assurance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing services and define care standards across the unit.
• Manage budgets, resources, and performance reviews for staff.
• Collaborate with CNL and Executive Director on admissions and operations.
