Zusammenfassung

Sheshegwaning First Nation is seeking a homemaker to provide essential services for elderly and disabled community members in Sheshegwaning and Zhiibaahaasing First Nations.

The role reports to the Health Director and requires compassionate, organized individuals who can work with minimal supervision and coordinate care with the Health Centre Team.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Compassion and understanding.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Must provide a vulnerable sector criminal reference check.
• G driver’s license is required.
• Knowledge/understanding of the Anishinaabe language, customs and traditions would be an asset.

Sheshegwaning First Nation is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to provide homemaking services to elderly and disabled persons in Sheshegwaning and Zhiibaahaasing First Nations. The Homemaker will report to the Health Director.

Overview:

This person will work closely with the Health Centre Team to:

• Provide homemaking services to the elderly and disabled persons
• Co-ordinate schedules to meet the needs of the clients in a timely manner

Qualifications:

Required Services:

• Washing of floors, windows and walls as needed
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Doing laundry
• Changing bed linens
• Cleaning fridges
• Cleaning Stoves
• Other related duties as requested
