Job summary

CarePartners is seeking Home Support Workers to join our team in Bancroft, Ontario. As a Home Support Worker you will assist with activities of daily living in patients' homes, providing compassionate, patient-centered care under supervision.

The role emphasizes independence, safety, and dignity, with training delivered virtually and in person to prepare you for success. We offer competitive wages, a paid training period, a signing bonus of $500, mileage reimbursement at 0.45 per km plus travel

Overview

Home Support Workers are an integral part of a health care team, and in this role, you will encourage, support, and promote independence for patients in home and community care settings by assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of our Personal Support Manager.

We are looking for Home Support Workers (HSWs) to help us bring patient and family-centered care to in patients in the Bancroftarea.Are you someone we should meet?

This course consists of virtual and in-person training. The following is required for attendance in the program:

• Internet access
• A laptop or device that has a webcam and is compatible with Microsoft Teams (CarePartners equipment will be available to attend training upon request)

What The Role Involves

CarePartners HSWs provide professional, compassionate care in homes and residences in the community. HSWs assist with activities of daily living, allowing patients and families to live life to the fullest with dignity and independence:

• Bathing, showering, personal hygiene
• Dressing
• Meal preparation
• Transferring/repositioning
• Light housekeeping
• Bowel/bladder care
• Socializing and companionship
