Job summary

CarePartners is seeking Home Support Workers to provide compassionate care in patients' homes and communities across Thessalon, Bruce Mines and St Joseph areas. You will assist with daily living activities under supervision, enabling independence and dignity for clients.

The role offers paid virtual and in-person training, orientation and preceptorship, a compensation grid with an hourly range of $20.42 to $20.85, plus a $500 signing bonus, and paid mileage of 0.45 per km plus travel time.

Overview

Home Support Workers are an integral part of a health care team, and in this role, you will encourage, support, and promote independence for patients in home and community care settings by assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of our Personal Support Manager.

We are looking for Home Support Workers (HSWs) to help us bring patient and family-centered care to in patients in the Thessalon, Bruce Mines, St Joseph area.

Our next course intake date is;

  • October 6, 2026

This course consists of virtual and in-person training. The following is required for attendance in the program:

  • Internet access
  • A laptop or device that has a webcam and is compatible with Microsoft Teams (CarePartners equipment will be available to attend training upon request)

What The Role Involves

CarePartners HSWs provide professional, compassionate care in homes and residences in the community. HSWs assist with activities of daily living, allowing patients and families to live life to the fullest with dignity and independence:
