Job summary

Yee Hong is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide in-home support and emergency response services in the home support and assisted living environment in the Greater Toronto area. You will deliver client-centred care, require PSW training in Ontario, CPR/First Aid, and strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

This role involves shift work (days, evenings, nights, weekends) with regular travel; use of own vehicle is required. English and Chinese communication is an asset.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario, or equivalent.
• Current CPR & First Aid Certificate.
• Registration with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) preferred.
• Client-centred care focus with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem-solve and time manage.
• Ability to work independently as well as be an active, positive team player.
• Computer literacy (MS Office). Basic knowledge of Alayacare, Workday an asset.
• Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Screen result.
• Ability to communicate in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities
