Job summary

ParaMed Inc. in Windsor, Ontario is seeking Home Support Workers to travel throughout Essex County, assisting patients at home with daily tasks and self-care. Training is provided in a three-week in-class program, after which part-time hours and benefits become available.

Responsibilities include visiting homes, preparing meals, light housekeeping, and providing companionship and help with daily living activities. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.

• Experience with seniors and/or children is an asset.

Job Description

We are currently looking for Home Support Workers to join our team travelling throughout Essex County. Must be willing to travel home to home throughout Amherstburg, Harrow Colchester, McGregor, Lasalle and surrounding towns. As a Home Support Worker, you will assist people in your community to live safely in their homes by supporting them with daily tasks and self-care activities. You will receive free and paid training in a full‑time 3 week in‑class program designed to teach you the skills needed to work as a Home Support Worker. Upon graduation you will be eligible for part‑time hours and benefits.
