Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare in Edmonton is seeking a Client Scheduling Coordinator to be the vital link between patients, families and healthcare providers, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling of care.

We are looking for professionals with strong customer service, clear communication, and the ability to coordinate with supervisors, field staff and funders to meet client care needs. Full-time hours 8:00AM–4:00PM with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two years of related customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong English communication, written and spoken.
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with patients, families, staff, and funder organizations.
• Process funder referrals and updates in the EMR (Procura).
• Review service needs with Supervisors, field staff and patients.
• Schedule care providers based on client needs, geography, and staff availability.
• Coordinate caregiver assignments and service delivery.
• Notify patients and staff of initial and ongoing schedules.
• Utilize scheduling software to optimize staff availability.
• Document accurate records in the EMR.
• Resolve patient concerns promptly and escalate as needed.
