Job summary

CBI Home Health is seeking Health Care Aides for Red Deer and surrounding areas to support clients in their homes and community settings, helping them live safely and independently.

You will provide personal care, assist with mobility and light exercises, observe changes, and report to your supervisor. A sign-on bonus of $500 is offered, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Active license in good standing with CLHA.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within 6 months.
• Proof of a negative TB test.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Commitment to work every other weekend.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; additional languages a plus.
• Reliability and strong organization skills.
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in their homes.
• Assist clients with mobility and light exercises.
• Observe, document, and report changes to supervisor.
• May perform light housekeeping per care plans.
