Job summary

CBI Home Health in Taber, Alberta is seeking a Health Care Aide to support clients at home and in the community. You will provide personal care, assist with mobility and light exercises, and document changes to the care plan, while keeping client and family at the heart of all care decisions.

Qualifications

• Active license and in good standing with CLHA.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within 6 months.
• Proof of a negative TB test in lifetime.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Commitment to work every other weekend.
• Strong English communication; other languages an asset.
• Reliability and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in home/community settings.
• Support clients to be safe and independent; assist mobilization and light exercises.
• Observe, document, and report changes in condition to Manager.
• May perform light housekeeping per client care plans.
