Job summary
CBI Home Health in Edmonton is seeking Health Care Aides to support clients in their homes and local lodges. You will provide personal care, assist with mobility and light exercises, and report any changes to your supervisor.
A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are required for travel between client sites. We offer weekend premiums, travel pay, flexible scheduling (FT/PT/casual), and a comprehensive benefits package including RRSP and extended medical and dental coverage; paid
Qualifications
- Active Practice Permit in good standing with CLHA.
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (last 6 months).
- Proof of a negative TB test.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Commitment to work every other weekend.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Reliability and strong organization skills.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg).
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to clients in their homes and lodges.
- Assist clients with mobility and light exercises.
- Observe, document, and report changes to the Manager/Supervisor.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in care plans.
