Job summary

Western Financial Group in Canada is seeking an Insurance Advisor who will meet sales targets through quotes and by referring new business, while building lasting relationships with customers and helping to protect what matters most to them.

Daily duties include providing quotes and selling home and auto policies by phone, in person, or by email; managing client relationships; following up on accounts to close renewals; and making timely sales calls for new business.

Qualifications

• General Level 1 Insurance License an asset.
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs.
• Communicate professionally in-person, over the phone, and through email.
• Prior experience achieving sales targets in a similar or comparable role.
• Working experience in EPIC an asset.
• Hours/Duration: 37.5 hours per week - temporary, 12 month contract

Responsibilities

• Provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and by email
• Assist customers with the purchase of their home and auto policy
• Manage and build customer relationships and meet insurance sales targets
• Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities
• Conduct sales calls for new business and making timely renewal calls for existing customer business
