Job summary

Franchise Management Inc. (FMI) operates KFC restaurants and is hiring a Shift Manager for a KFC in St Stephen, NB.

Responsibilities

• Willing to work on the floor while coaching the team to achieve daily KPIs
• Supervise, motivate and train team members with tasks, sanitation and safety procedures
• Plan, establish work schedules and coordinate day-to-day activities
• Provide recognition and corrective coaching as appropriate
• Provide input to RGM when performance issues arise
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through service and product quality
• Assist team with tasks to ensure complete customer satisfaction
• Correct customer complaints and escalate major issues to RGM
• Ensure promotions and new products are correctly executed during shifts
• Maintain neat, professional uniforms and appearances and meet requirements
• Staffing and deployment planning to match business needs
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels and notify management when low
• Assist with ordering ingredients and supplies
• Prepare restaurant for peak revenue periods using planning tools
• Assist in achieving sales and profit targets
• Comply with safety and health codes and company policies
• Respond to emergencies and inform management promptly

FMI Atlantic Inc has embarked on a major expansion for their KFC restaurants across Canada. The business address is 417, Connell Street Woodstock New Brunswick E7M 5G5. We are currently hiring a Shift Manager at our KFC restaurant in St Stephen, New Brunswick.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Willing to work a position on the floor while coaching the team to achieve daily KPIs.
• Supervise, motivate and train team members with their tasks and responsibilities, sanitation and safety procedures;
• Plan, establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate the day-to-day activities of team members;
• Provide positive recognition and corrective coaching when appropriate;
• Provide input to RGM when performance issues arise;
• Ensure team members provide the highest possible level of customer satisfaction through service and product quality;
• Assist team members with tasks as needed to ensure complete customer satisfaction;
• Initiate necessary actions to correct customer complaints and elevate any major issues to RGM;
• Ensure team members are properly executing current promotions and new products during the shift;
• Ensure team member uniforms and appearances are neat, professional, clean at all times and meet necessary requirements;
• Ensure proper staffing and deployment throughout the shift to match business needs;
• Monitors, keep records and maintains correct inventory levels (product & supply) and notifies management when levels are low;
• Assists with ordering of ingredients and supplies as assigned;
• Ensure restaurant is ready for peak revenue periods by utilizing appropriate planning and projection tools;
• Assists in ensuring sales and profit targets are met;
• Ensure Occupational Safety & Health Act, local health and safety codes and corporate safety/security policies and procedures are met and followed;
• Respond to emergency situations as required and communicate to management immediately;
• Assist in recruiting and selecting qualified, high energy team members using approved tools and systems;
• Assist with the communication and administration of company policies;
• Ensure proper communication takes place during shift change;
• All other management duties as assigned.
• The Shift Manager is part of the team, so working on the floor will be the main part of the job (kitchen while cooking products, packing area, cash and Drive-Thru). The shift Manager will be scheduled full shifts in the positions listed in that point.
• The Shift Manager will be part of the cleaning team, as the whole team is responsible to maintain the restaurant including, including Management : equipment, walls, floors, counters, office, windows, doors, employees and guests washrooms and any other area of the store or outside of the store that needs cleaning. These tasks also include and is not limited to sweeping and mopping the floors, as well as doing the dishes.
